River Access
Since flooding in December of 2025, the path to the river has been washed out. I know you're bummed because I am too.

Unplug if you like. Plug in when you leave.
Arrival — please feel free to use
- TV, Wii, Xbox, DVD player
- Towels, sheets, linens, and pillows
- Kitchen appliances, baking supplies, etc.
- Fireplace, BBQ (shut off gas when done)
- Apple TV: Amazon, Netflix, Showtime, etc.
- Fans, blankets, pillows, hair dryer, iron
- Indoor/outdoor games & music equipment (please put away what you use when finished)
Please do NOT
- Throw unwanted food outside — mice, bears…
- Leave the house unlocked while unattended
- Let anything but water-based liquids down the sink or toilets. The house is on septic.
- Smoke in the house
Departure
- Turn off fireplace / turn down heat (61°)
- Wash dishes / start dishwasher
- Used towels in laundry room / hamper
- Strip sheets off used beds
- Pack up or toss all food you brought
- Take garbage out to black Husky bin
- Turn off lights
- Close and lock all doors and windows

Grill
The gas line feeding the grill is on the side of the house. Make sure the knob is perpendicular to the line to ensure the gas is flowing. Make sure you turn it off when you're done grilling. Use the grill scraper to clean any mess, please!
Local amenities and more
There are yard games in the twin bedroom and boardgames under the dining room side of the counter.
Der Baring Store may be closed for good, but LouSkis, 7 miles east, may have beverages and snacks you crave. Skykomish Chevron is the last gas station east. While adults might enjoy The Whistling Post, kids will enjoy the Great Northern & Cascade Railway across the street.
